DUO Initial Setup

*IMPORTANT NOTE: It is recommended to do this process on a computer.

1. To begin the duo mobile set up process while going through first time password setup, please click the "Sign Up"

 

 

2.) Next, click "Get Started"

3.) Choose the option "Duo Mobile". *NOTE: Please do not click FaceID or Windows Hello.

 

 

4.) Type in your phone number and verify that it is correct. If the phone number you entered is correct, click "Yes, it's correct."

 

 

5.) Next, you will be prompted to download the Duo Mobile app. You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Once you've downloaded the app, click "Next".

 

 

6.) A QR code will be displayed on screen. Open the Duo Mobile app on your phone and scan the QR code displayed on your computer.

 

 

7.) Your computer should say that Duo was successfully added. Click "Continue".

 

 

8.) If you do not want to add any other devices, click "I don't want to add more devices".

 

 

9.) Next, click "Log in with Duo"

 

 

10.) A three-digit number will be displayed on your computer screen. In your Duo Mobile app on your phone, type in the three digit code.

 

 

11.) Duo is now set up! You will be prompted to set up Duo again. Since you have just set it up, click "Not Today".

 

 

 

12.) Click "Not Today, I understand that my account will be auto-enrolled this fall."

 

 

13.) You can now proceed with setting up your password. For steps on this, visit this article (You should be ready for step 10).
